Our philosophy of effective ministry is relational first and foremost: Our underlying goal is always to strengthen and encourage each individual student’s relationship with God. We believe we can do this by having a team of leaders/counselors that are genuinely invested into the Ministry of The Church as well as the lives of these individual students. We desire to create a fun & welcoming environment where students are encouraged to build meaningful relationships with one another and find it easy and exciting to grow in a relationship with God.

We place a big emphasis on the teaching of God’s Word, and to do so in a way that would be relatable to a 6th-8th grader. We use Sunday morning’s to teach God’s Word corporately in an engaging, creative and relatable way. We then use Wednesday night’s as a means of discipling student’s in God’s Word through small groups, which also allows us greater opportunity to grow deeper in relationship’s with the student’s and in better understanding their questions, struggles, needs, etc.

We also spend time in Corporate Worship to God as a response to all that He has done for us and even have communion as a part of our worship service once a month. We also value finding ways for student’s to feel connected within the group and to be allotted the time and freedom necessary to build relationships with one another.

Our desire is that all of these things will help to encourage the student where they are at in their Spiritual Life and to help them to produce real growth in their personal relationship with God. We hope that by the time each student graduates the 8th grade that they will enter High School with a better understanding of what it means to be The Church, a genuine love for God & understanding of Grace, and a greater desire to be changed by His Word.

We offer two meeting times every Sunday morning:

  • 8:30am – 10:00am
  • 10:30am – 12:00pm

Sunday mornings with the Jr. High are structured to include a group time of worship, prayer and Teaching/Bible Study. The philosophy behind our Sunday gatherings is to primarily focus our time and attention to the corporate worship & teaching/study of God’s Word.

We meet every Wednesday evening:

  • 7:00pm – 8:30pm

Wednesday evenings are structured a bit different than our Sunday morning gatherings. The philosophy behind our Wednesday gatherings is to focus our attention on being The Church (by building relationships that would encourage, exhort, support, remind, etc.) and on the personal study and application of God’s Word through small groups.
